I was recently given the opportunity to read Christmas in the Crosshairs: An Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology featuring Lynette Eason， Kate Angelo， Kelly Underwood， and Sami A。 Abrams。 This is Book 4 in the Elite Guardians Series and I have had the honor of reading Books 1 through 3 in this series。I have to say any book that has a Christmas Theme is going to be a book that I want to read， especially in the months leading up to Christmas。 The book contains 3 Novellas all with a common synopsis I was recently given the opportunity to read Christmas in the Crosshairs: An Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology featuring Lynette Eason， Kate Angelo， Kelly Underwood， and Sami A。 Abrams。 This is Book 4 in the Elite Guardians Series and I have had the honor of reading Books 1 through 3 in this series。I have to say any book that has a Christmas Theme is going to be a book that I want to read， especially in the months leading up to Christmas。 The book contains 3 Novellas all with a common synopsis， Danger， Mystery and Romance。 I think my favorite Novella in this book was Silent Night Seige by Kelly Underwood。 The novella brings back Billionaire Preston Whittaker and bodyguard Laila Rabbinowitz from Book 3 of the series。 I really enjoyed Book 3 in the series and love that I was able to enjoy another story with them。 Preston and Laila are in a plane wreck and with little to survive on。 They get news that the wreck was actually a sabotage。 Will they stay out of danger and will their relationship survive？ The entire book is action-packed， kept me on the edge of my seat， and also has Romance。 I HIGHLY recommend this book and the Series to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance Suspense novels。 READ the series it truly is AMAZING！ 。。。more

I enjoyed reading these novellas。 It was fun to get caught up on what was happening in the lives of the Elite Guardians that we got to know through the series。 Each novella gives a recap of what had happened in the individual books so you know a little about how they met and their history。 There is a lot of action packed into these novellas but they don't feel rushed。 There is some degree of a biblical faith thread through the stories。 I liked getting a epilogue of sorts with the couples getting I enjoyed reading these novellas。 It was fun to get caught up on what was happening in the lives of the Elite Guardians that we got to know through the series。 Each novella gives a recap of what had happened in the individual books so you know a little about how they met and their history。 There is a lot of action packed into these novellas but they don't feel rushed。 There is some degree of a biblical faith thread through the stories。 I liked getting a epilogue of sorts with the couples getting their happily ever afters。 I got a free copy of this book。 All thoughts and opinions are my own and given voluntarily。 No compensation was received for my review。 。。。more

Will these 3 couples survive to see Christmas。。。I have been really enjoying the Elite Guardians series originated by Lynette Eason so when I found out there would be a Christmas novella collection written by the same three authors who penned each of the previous three books， well， I was pretty excited。 Christmas In The Crosshairs turned out to be everything I have come to anticipate in the series。 Kate Angelo， Kelly Underwood， and Sami A。 Abrams deliver plenty of drama， danger， and romance for t Will these 3 couples survive to see Christmas。。。I have been really enjoying the Elite Guardians series originated by Lynette Eason so when I found out there would be a Christmas novella collection written by the same three authors who penned each of the previous three books， well， I was pretty excited。 Christmas In The Crosshairs turned out to be everything I have come to anticipate in the series。 Kate Angelo， Kelly Underwood， and Sami A。 Abrams deliver plenty of drama， danger， and romance for their respective characters and for their readers。 Each couple faces a different life changing step; one must set a date for their wedding， one must choose whether to make the altar the next step in their relationship， and the third must decide whether their impending ceremony is where they are supposed to be。 Of course， all of them just need to survive long enough to be able to make those decisions。 Christmas In The Crosshairs is a great addition to the Elite Guardians series and I loved how I could sit down and read a complete story in just one fairly quick sitting。 It was also fun how each one was independent but at the same time loosely built on each other。 Kate Angelo's Deadly Hijack saw the characters anticipating the upcoming wedding that Kelly Underwood's Silent Night Siege were on the way to attend while Sami A。 Abrams' Christmas Snowstorm Standoff were waiting for their friends to arrive for the big day。So， if you are in the Christmas mood for a little faith-filled romantic suspense and you are a fan of the Elite Guardians， may I suggest Christmas In The Crosshairs as your next exciting read。。。（I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher。 All opinions are entirely my own。） 。。。more

I love this anthology！ And I’ve loved the series as well。 Lynette Eason knows how to write a wonderful suspense novel。 And in this anthology， she’s teamed up with three other writers to bring you quite a wonderful read！Some of the authors I’ve read works by them on their own and some I haven’t。 But I knew their additions would be amazing in this novel。There are three novellas within this book。 They go with the Elite Guardian series。 You’ve already met the characters if you’ve read the series tha I love this anthology！ And I’ve loved the series as well。 Lynette Eason knows how to write a wonderful suspense novel。 And in this anthology， she’s teamed up with three other writers to bring you quite a wonderful read！Some of the authors I’ve read works by them on their own and some I haven’t。 But I knew their additions would be amazing in this novel。There are three novellas within this book。 They go with the Elite Guardian series。 You’ve already met the characters if you’ve read the series that it goes with。 If you haven’t you might be a smidge lost when reading this but not enough to make you put the book down。 The authors do a good job giving you some backstory throughout so you shouldn’t be lost。 I enjoyed all three of the novellas but I think the Deadly Holiday Hijack was my favorite。 Boss is just quite the dog！ We have a rescued service dog living in our home（long story but his owner no longer needed him for PTSD） and he’s a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix。 I saw a lot of him within the character of Boss。 While he’s not as well trained as Boss he is well trained and it’s amazing watching him work/his endless energy for play。 Boss isn’t the only thing I liked about the story， but he’s probably what tipped the scale to making that one my favorite。 I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from JustRead Publicity Tours。 All views expressed are only my honest opinion。 I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way。 All opinions expressed are my own。 I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations。 。。。more

Christmas in the Crosshairs: An Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology is book #4 in the Elite Guardians Collection。 I admit I was so excited for this novella to get here。 I've been waiting since the end of Elite Guardians #3 Defending Honor by Kelly Underwood。 This was the perfect Christmas anthology for these bodyguards and their men。 Christina， Lizzie， and Laila do Christmas like no other。 In Deadly Holiday Hijack， Christina and Grey go to watch a Christmas nativity program just to get attacked Christmas in the Crosshairs: An Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology is book #4 in the Elite Guardians Collection。 I admit I was so excited for this novella to get here。 I've been waiting since the end of Elite Guardians #3 Defending Honor by Kelly Underwood。 This was the perfect Christmas anthology for these bodyguards and their men。 Christina， Lizzie， and Laila do Christmas like no other。 In Deadly Holiday Hijack， Christina and Grey go to watch a Christmas nativity program just to get attacked by terrorists and it's live-streamed too。 In Silent Night Siege ， Laila and Preston get into a plane crash in the mountains of Colorado and they are hunted。 The plane crash was deliberate and someone wants their blood。 And if that wasn't enough， all Lizzie and Charlie want to do is get married on Christmas Eve。 But in Christmas Snowstorm Standoff they not only battle their cold feet before the wedding， they battle a storm that might keep everyone from attending the ceremony， and someone is attacking the ranch they are staying at。 It's Christmas season Guardians style！ OMS！ I loved each and every story in this anthology。 I had every emotion in the book as I was reading these holiday tales。 They were intense， drama-filled， and happily ever afters。 I cried。 I laughed。 And I smiled through out。 It did not disappoint me in the least and it made me very happy to spend some time in their world。 I pray that we get more Elite Guardian books。 There was not an epilogue at the end so while I'm not usually liking that， it gives me hope for more books。 And I for one can not wait！ I was given a copy but all opinions are my very own！ 。。。more

Talk about feeling all the feels！ The Christmas in the Crosshairs anthology truly has everything: heart-pounding suspense， action， adventure， and of course friendship and love as the Elite Guardians find themselves in some pretty unique situations。 This is how you do an anthology！Deadly Holiday Hijack by Kate Angelo is what kicks off the suspense and man does it deliver！ The cheesy one-liners made by Grey at the beginning made this a hard story to take seriously at first， but once the action rea Talk about feeling all the feels！ The Christmas in the Crosshairs anthology truly has everything: heart-pounding suspense， action， adventure， and of course friendship and love as the Elite Guardians find themselves in some pretty unique situations。 This is how you do an anthology！Deadly Holiday Hijack by Kate Angelo is what kicks off the suspense and man does it deliver！ The cheesy one-liners made by Grey at the beginning made this a hard story to take seriously at first， but once the action really kicked off it got really serious real quick。 I cannot even begin to imagine the terror of the hostages in that church， and think the author did a wonderful job of putting the reader right there in the room with them。Though it is a novella that does not take away from the action or suspense one bit。 If anything， I feel like it might’ve amped it up even more， and though I haven’t read any of the other books in this series I found myself instantly vested in these characters and their nightmarish plight。 I definitely want read the rest of this series now！Silent Night Siege by Kelly Underwood is the second novella and it was so cute！ It wasn’t as heart-pounding as the first book， with a much slower pace， but there was still plenty of suspense to keep me turning the pages。 I adore Preston and Laila as a couple and loved being able to see them grow closer to one another in the face of incredible odds。 There is a moment that these two share together that made me swoon so much that it will stay with me for awhile。 So powerful！Christmas Snowstorm Standoff by Sami A。 Abrams closes out the anthology and had to be my favorite as it was the culmination of the three stories， ending with the most perfect winter wedding ever！ I liked that the action didn’t seem too far-fetched and the characters were believable with true concerns。 I also loved getting to finally see the entire Elite Guardians team together！With a swoony proposal and a wedding that gleams with holiday magic， Christmas in the Crosshairs was perfection！ All of the characters relate to one another so masterfully， and even though I haven’t read this series yet I never once felt lost or that I didn’t connect with the characters。 I cannot wait to get to read the rest of this series and love that I didn’t have to read it first to enjoy these novellas。 Action packed with love and family， Christmas in the Crosshairs is a must read for the holiday season and beyond！*I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I read through Kindle Unlimited with JustRead Tours。 All views and opinions expressed are completely honest， and my own。 。。。more

Christmas in the Crosshairs is a fantastic weekend read that will get you in the mood for Christmas！ I’ve read many of Lynette Eason’s books， and I enjoyed getting to know the new-to-me authors in this collection （Sami A。 Abrams， Kelly Underwood， and Kate Angelo）。 Three stories， which are separate， are so uniquely written and each one is quite thrilling。 I loved the way the authors created deep characters， each with their own set of issues that they needed to overcome。 I couldn’t put the book do Christmas in the Crosshairs is a fantastic weekend read that will get you in the mood for Christmas！ I’ve read many of Lynette Eason’s books， and I enjoyed getting to know the new-to-me authors in this collection （Sami A。 Abrams， Kelly Underwood， and Kate Angelo）。 Three stories， which are separate， are so uniquely written and each one is quite thrilling。 I loved the way the authors created deep characters， each with their own set of issues that they needed to overcome。 I couldn’t put the book down and found myself reading well into the night。 I love books that put the heroes and heroines in grave danger， and these stories did just that！ I received this book from the publisher as an ARC。 The opinions here are mine。 。。。more

This was such an action packed and exciting novella collection。 You could certainly enjoy it even if you haven’t read the books in the Elite Guardians Collection。 However， you will definitely get more out of these stories if you have， because the three novellas feature the three couples from that series。 Each novella was so fun to read！In the first story， Deadly Holiday Hijack， there were so many gasp out loud moments！ I loved watching Grey and Christina work together， even as Grey fought his fr This was such an action packed and exciting novella collection。 You could certainly enjoy it even if you haven’t read the books in the Elite Guardians Collection。 However， you will definitely get more out of these stories if you have， because the three novellas feature the three couples from that series。 Each novella was so fun to read！In the first story， Deadly Holiday Hijack， there were so many gasp out loud moments！ I loved watching Grey and Christina work together， even as Grey fought his frustration at being limited with his wheelchair。 They were both amazing and their training and backgrounds really showed through in this story。In the second story， Silent Night Siege， there was a terrifying plane crash， which was only the beginning of the danger for Preston and Laila。 I really felt for both of them， as it was so clear that they loved each other， yet they had found themselves prioritizing work over time together recently。In the last story， Christmas Snowstorm Standoff， Lizzie and Charlie were only a couple of days away from their wedding when everything that could go wrong seemed to， which included a shooter terrorizing the ranch they were preparing to hold their wedding at。 I liked watching these two strategize together and work to protect the people who were at the ranch while also working to figure out who was behind the danger。This collection and the entire series is one I definitely recommend for fans of romantic suspense。（4。5 stars）I received a complimentary copy of the book， but ended up reading it on Kindle Unlimited。 All opinions are my own。You can read this review on my blog:https://brittreadsfiction。wordpress。c。。。 。。。more

Suspense + Romance + Holiday Events = 3 Great Reads！I had the good fortune to read all three of the original novels in the Elite Guardians Collection。 Now these three talented authors have joined together to bring readers an entertaining， spine-tingling， heartwarming collection of stories set during the Christmas holidays。* ~ 'Deadly Holiday Hijack' by Kate Angelo: The main characters of this story， Grey Parker and Christina Sherman， are two of my favorite fictional characters in this series。 Th Suspense + Romance + Holiday Events = 3 Great Reads！I had the good fortune to read all three of the original novels in the Elite Guardians Collection。 Now these three talented authors have joined together to bring readers an entertaining， spine-tingling， heartwarming collection of stories set during the Christmas holidays。* ~ 'Deadly Holiday Hijack' by Kate Angelo: The main characters of this story， Grey Parker and Christina Sherman， are two of my favorite fictional characters in this series。 The couple is engaged， but they have not yet set their wedding date。 This story is turbo-paced and is set in a church where the congregation has come together to see the annual Christmas pageant。 Through their ingenuity， faith in each other—and in the Lord—and Grey's 'make-do' science experiments， the couple navigates through a maze of villains and fear。 A satisfying ending will please fans of this genre。* ~ 'Silent Night Siege' by Kelly Underwood: An airplane crash kicks this cat-and-mouse story into full gear when Preston Whittaker and his fiancée and former bodyguard， Laila Rabbinowitz， are pursued by an evil man from her past。 This tale of survival is filled with action and danger in the treacherous Rocky Mountains。 Preston and Laila discover more about themselves and their relationship than they expected as they work together to save themselves from a horrible fate。 Once again， the quick thinking of both characters creates a satisfying read for fans of this genre。* ~ 'Christmas Snowstorm Standoff' by Sami A。 Abrams: Bodyguards Charlie Lee and Lizzie Tremaine have arrived a few days early to the Montana ranch where their destination wedding will be held on Christmas Eve。 A series of frightening events， a massive snowstorm， and a surprise guest keep the action moving from start to finish in this unique plot。 Doubts fill the mind of both main characters as their wedding approaches， but through their faith in the Lord and their love for each other they work through their difficulties。 A touching final chapter made this an excellent read for me。All of the stories are completely clean in language and content。 A strong faith thread is woven through each story， and I enjoyed the inclusion of a combination of various series characters in each individual story。I received a copy of this book from the publisher through JustRead Publicity Tours。 All of my thoughts and opinions shared here are solely my own。##################### 。。。more

Christmas in the Crosshairs is an Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology。 You don't have to have read the previous novels， the stories will all make sense， but you'd be missing out if you didn't。Each of these novellas picks up where a full length novel ended， with three separate couples in different places， all trying to get to Montana for a wedding。 Unfortunately， as you'd expect， in a romantic suspense collection， there's trouble ahead。 Deadly Holiday Hijack， by Kate Angelo and Lynette EasonBodyg Christmas in the Crosshairs is an Elite Guardians Christmas Anthology。 You don't have to have read the previous novels， the stories will all make sense， but you'd be missing out if you didn't。Each of these novellas picks up where a full length novel ended， with three separate couples in different places， all trying to get to Montana for a wedding。 Unfortunately， as you'd expect， in a romantic suspense collection， there's trouble ahead。 Deadly Holiday Hijack， by Kate Angelo and Lynette EasonBodyguard Christina Sherman and her fiancée Grey Parker find themselves， along with Boss （the fabulous dog）， trapped at what should be a peaceful nativity。 Until terrorists put the building and all the lives inside， at risk。 This is where the theme of 'start the novella？ You'll have to finish the novella，' began。 I could not put it down until everyone was okay。 Even though I knew in an inspirational Christmas story， no one heartbreaking would end up dead， I still couldn't stop reading。 Such is the skill of these writers。 Silent Night Siege， by Kelly Underwood and Lynette EasonIn this second glimpse of Laila Rabbinowitz， we see the bodyguard questioning her relationship with Preston Whittaker， her billionaire boyfriend。 As the two depart for some much needed downtime， their plane crashes。 Because of course it does。 The thing I really liked here is that Laila gets injured （I don't like that Laila gets injured） and that means Preston has to step up and， for once， rescue them both。 Also had to adopt the 'fiddle， I started reading and need to know how this ends' policy。 Christmas Snowstorm Standoff， by Sami A。 Abrams and Lynette EasonFinally， it looks like a storm means no one is going to make it to Montana for Lizzie Tremaine's marriage to Charlie Lee。 And even if they could， it'd be dangerous as someone is taking shots at the ranch house。 If that's not enough， as Charlie begins to question his happy ending， his ex， who did a real number on him， shows up out of nowhere asking for help。 Yep。 No stopping 'til I'd finished that either。 All in all， this was a great collection。 The stories certainly gripped me， as I suspect they will anyone with a pulse。 Although each was reasonably short （novella length）， they lasted long enough to pull me in completely （okay， that took maybe a page）。 And of course the best part， three happy endings， culminating in a wedding with the whole team。 A fantastic end to what's been a wonderful revisiting of the Elite Guardian's story world。 Highly recommended。 I received a copy from the publisher。 The total enjoyment and the views are all mine。 。。。more

I loved The Elite Guardian series by Lynette Eason。 So， when I saw this book， I was like， "Yes， please！" I love the idea of more of the guardians！ I failed to realize this book has the characters from the Elite Guardians Collection by Kate Angelo， Sami A。 Abrams， and Kelly Underwood。 This collection is enjoyable even if you haven't read their books， but expect mild spoilers。Deadly Holiday Hijack by Kate AngeloDeadly Holiday Hijack starts all sweet and innocent。 Christina and Grey are in Savannah I loved The Elite Guardian series by Lynette Eason。 So， when I saw this book， I was like， "Yes， please！" I love the idea of more of the guardians！ I failed to realize this book has the characters from the Elite Guardians Collection by Kate Angelo， Sami A。 Abrams， and Kelly Underwood。 This collection is enjoyable even if you haven't read their books， but expect mild spoilers。Deadly Holiday Hijack by Kate AngeloDeadly Holiday Hijack starts all sweet and innocent。 Christina and Grey are in Savannah for a Nativity Play， then， bam！ An entire church is taken hostage by terrorists。 What should have been an enjoyable evening turns into the longest night of their lives。 Tensions run higher when Christina and Gray fake fight to get the attention of some of the terrorists， and they begin to wonder if the fight is fake at all。 It gets worse when the attack gets more personal。 While this is a short novella， the author does a fabulous job of making it feel like a full story。★★★★★/5 Silent Night Siege by Kelly UnderwoodI did not read the synopsis before starting Silent Night Siege， but I knew from the moment Preston and Laila got on the plane that it was going to crash。 The way it happens is creative， but the outcome is exactly what you would expect。 The plot moved quickly， the characters were likable， and the story had a nice resolution。 I did find the dialogue stilted in parts， which diminished my enjoyment just a bit。★★★/5 Christmas Snowstorm Standoff by Sami A。 AbramsLizzie and Charlie are ready for their wedding guests to arrive at a ranch in Montana when a snowstorm strikes。 While they are worrying about whether any of their family and friends are going to be able to make it， they see a lady stumbling down the driveway in the snow。 As if that wasn't unexpected enough， their rescue turns deadly when an unknown assailant fires shots。 Everyone at the ranch seems to have enemies， which makes it hard to narrow down who the target is and who the shooter could be。This one had a few unexpected moments， some tender moments， and leaves you with the happily ever after you expect。 ★★★★/5Thank you to JustReads Publicity and the publisher for the opportunity to read this Anthology。 I was not required to provide a positive review。 All thoughts and opinions are my own。 ★★★★/5 。。。more

This anthology of three novellas is a great addition to the Elite Guardians series。 Each book is a separate story， but all work well together and are a fun reunion with various characters from the series。 There is plenty of non-stop suspense and action， and I found it difficult to put down。 All three authors have done a great job continuing the series and I look forward to reading more in the future！
